Keeping it up.

I knew I would be on campus around lunchtime again, so I boiled some rice last night and assembled the rest this morning.

The big compartment has rice with gomashio and storebought garlic teriyaki smoked tofu (yum!) plus some edamame.

The small compartment has soy nuts, strawberries, dried apricots and a green tea mochi.

We have a microwave now, and I would really like to try to make my own mochi. I have some interesting non-Japanese flavor ideas. Stay tuned!
